We were told that
Hwy. 5 south had been recently improved which made me wonder how road
conditions might have been before until i saw the old road (left middle to
right) which is almos impassable for ordinary cars. Nowadays driving there
is not a big deal provided you carry a tire patch kit and i would not take
a new Mercedes on the trip.
