| Day 3: Next day we actually managed to reach the middle of death valley, here near the sand dunes, right at noon! For the only time on the trip I closed all zippers on my leather while riding, in order to keep the heat away. At the restaurant in Furnace Creek we extensively abused the refills on iced tea and gave the waitress a nice tip. | ||
